Social Skills Groups

Kindle Behavior Consultants offers ongoing social groups throughout the week. Each child will be placed into a group of 3-6 students based on age and current skills. Individualized objectives are created and will be tracked via data collection throughout the group. Each group is overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 1 to 2 assistants. If your child is in need of further assistance, a 1:1 assistant may be provided.

Several of Our Groups in Burlington and North Reading are Now Enrolling!

Who is Eligible?

Our social groups are for children between the ages of 3 and 18 who may have social skill difficulties or deficits. An initial assessment will be conducted to determine an appropriate placement of your child into a group of children with similar skill levels. We will then determine your child's individualized objectives.

Curriculum

We use a social skills curriculum based on developmental milestones. This involves skills such as initiating interactions with peers, body language, sharing, cooperative play, responding to conflict, empathy, perspective taking, etc. Each of the social skills will be taught using social stories, video-modeling, direct feedback, prompt fading and role-playing.
